Welcome to Milnsbridge Beavers

Milnsbridge Beaver Scouts will be opening on Wednesday 5th March 2008.

Beavers is for boys and girls aged 6 - 8 years old.

	What do Beavers do? Beavers will have a great deal of fun whilst in the colony, taking part in many activities and outings, which will be communicated to you via the beaver newsletters. They will also have the opportunity to gain a number of awards and activity badges in the colony.  These are given in recognition of taking part in specific activities and the effort they have made
Beavers meet at the Scout headquarters on Pickford Street on Wednesday evenings 6.00 – 7.15 pm.   What do I have to pay?   For the first few weeks that your child attends beavers (depending on when during the month that he/she joins) no payment is due. After 3 – 4 weeks subs would be due of currently £8 per month normally payable on the first Wednesday of the month. Outings and other similar activities may incur an extra charge.	What does my child need to bring?   Nothing at first! After a few weeks you will need to purchase a uniform, a list of local suppliers will be provided upon request. This consists of a turquoise Beaver Sweatshirt and navy blue cargo pants. The navy blue with white border scarf will be supplied when your child is invested.
